We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten Assistant to join our supportive team in a warm, community-focused early learning environment.

Our Lady of the Rosary Kindergarten is a 22 place standalone kindergarten located on the grounds of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School, Kenmore. The Kindergarten operates 40 weeks a year and is closed during the school holidays.

About the Opportunity!
 Join us for a rare opportunity to work school term hours! With 38 hours per week dedicated to term time (40 weeks per year), you'll embark on an adventure like no other in shaping young minds and creating magical moments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging learning experiences
• Support children’s wellbeing, learning, and development
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Assist with supervision, daily routines, and care needs
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean learning environment

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential 
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
