About the Opportunity

We are very excited that the Encara family is growing, and we have a flexible opportunity available for a Community Podiatrist in Melbourne, VIC, supporting participants in our SEMPHN program. We are ideally seeking an independent contractor to provide services on a flexible, as-needed basis as participant referrals arise.
  
The role involves community-based home visits across Melbourne's south and southeast. Podiatry is an opt-in component of the program, so referral numbers and workload may vary.

The duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Conduct one-hour home visits with participants who opt in to receive podiatry services.
• Complete podiatry assessments and provide basic treatment as clinically indicated.
• Deliver participant education using the program handbook.
• Complete clinical documentation and provide reports or referrals as required.
• Contact participants directly to arrange and schedule appointments (for contractors).

The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and registered Podiatrist with strong communication, clinical documentation and organizational skills. They will be comfortable providing community-based care through home visits, managing appointment scheduling and working flexibly in response to participant referrals. Most importantly, they will be committed to delivering safe, high-quality care that supports positive outcomes for participants.
