About the role:

Encara's Allied Health team is rapidly expanding. We currently have multiple roles available across the Gold Coast & South East Queensland for Allied Health Assistants with a special interest in Podiatry. The Podiatry Allied Health Assistant role is based in the residential aged care setting, attending to general foot and nail care as referred by a Podiatrist or Registered Nurse. The role is aimed at supporting Encara’s podiatry team to deliver consistent podiatry care for residents.

What your role will include in Residential Aged Care:

• Basic foot and nail care for residents;
• Treating common foot disorders and applying dressings;
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team at the facility, such as Registered Nurses and Care Managers, along with Encara’s Clinical Podiatry team; and
• Documentation of clinical notes following each treatment.

Required credentials:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Podiatry specialty preferred);
• National Police Check;
• NDIS Worker Screening Check; and
• COVID and Flu Vaccinations.
