We’re looking for a full-time Sous Chef and a full-time Kitchen Manager to join our Sydney production leadership team, working across our Mentmore Ave (Rosebery) and Castlereagh (CBD) kitchens. These roles are ideal for hospitality professionals with strong pastry knowledge, proven leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams in a high-performance environment.

What the roles involve:
  
Sous Chef

• Act as second in command across the Sydney region and in support of the Head Chef across all BOH operational matters
• Contributing hands-on to pastry production and following recipes and production schedules with precision across all Sydney venues
• Training, coaching, and performance-managing team members
• Supporting recruitment, rostering, and appraisals in collaboration with the Head Chef
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
• Fostering a positive, collaborative kitchen culture

Kitchen Manager

• 4 day work week, (38hrs/week)
• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef through ensuring the training and quality control standards are clarified, understood and upheld within your kitchen sections
• Overseeing prep, service, production flow, and team communication
• Leading sections and managing service, supporting both the kitchen leadership and kitchen teams
• Responsible for rostering, quality control, handovers, and compliance regarding kitchen operations in all Sydney venues
• Mentoring and supporting team development

We’re looking for people who:

• Have 2+ years leadership experience in a kitchen and strong culinary skills
• Bring resilience, accountability, confidence, and flexibility to their work
• Have strong communication and organisational skills and a motivation to drive their teams to success
• Thrive in a kitchen environment that offers both challenge and reward

What we offer:

• Sous Chef: Salary of $95,000 + super
• Kitchen Manager: Salary of $85,000 + super
