Project Engineer | Electrical | Control Systems | Oxford | £45,000 - £50,000pa plus exceptional benefits:
  
MARS Recruitment is exclusively recruiting a Project Engineer who has Electrical & Control Systems knowledge to join a world leader in the design and manufacturing of instrumentation, systems and devices. After a great couple of years for the business, they are now looking to recruit a Project Engineer to manage the delivery of a range of projects from conception through design and into manufacturing. This would really suit a Project Engineer with an electrical and control systems knowledge, several years of experience who likes to project manage and enjoys liaising with the customer, design and manufacturing teams to deliver a world-class product.   
  
Our client is operating a 9 day fortnight, so every other week you will get a 3 day weekend!!!
  
About you:
The successful Project Engineer will need to be degree educated ideally in Mechanical Engineering. The following experience and skills are essential criteria:

• Experience in managing significant projects or programmes.
• Product experience in electrical control systems.
• Wide experience of design and build processes, knowledge of drawing and schematics standards.
• The confidence and credibility to lead the projects.
• Previous experience in managing projects.
• Ability to plan across multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to check and validate engineering designs.
• Ability to prepare and manage engineering budgets.
• Knowledge of drawing standards and design processes.
• Ability to work within ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
• Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with 3D modelling and CAD packages.
• Experience of using Microsoft Project or similar software
