Myndshift Group have been engaged for a specific project to recruit Tyre Fitters for our client’s mining project close to the township of Glenden. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on a large truck fleet as listed below.

Truck Fleet:

• Hitachi EH5000 & CAT 794 Electric Trucks
• CAT 785, 789, 793 Mechanical Trucks

  
About the Role:

• Labour Hire Engagement with Temp- Perm Opportunities
• 3-year contract extension 
• Competitive hourly rate, with weekly pay cycle.
• Super & Coal LSL paid on all hours worked
• Even time 7:7 DS/NS roster (12.5 -hour shifts)
• Bus available from Townsville & Mackay
• Camp accommodation Supplied

  
Key Responsibilities:

• Remove, fitting and repairing tyres, rims and wheel assemblies on heavy mining equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving tyre related issues
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard  

  
About You:

• Cert II in Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting
• Current Drivers Licence
• High Risk Licence Desirable
• Standard 11 Certificate (statement of attainment)
• Ability to provide a current Coal Board Medical
• Proof of Australian working rights
• National Police Check
