Myndshift Group is partnering with a Tier 1 ASX Listed Mining Contractor to identify an experienced Mine Manager to lead mining operations and drive operational performance, safety and productivity.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an established mining leader who has previously operated at Mine Manager level and brings extensive experience managing large-scale mining operations with an ultra-class mining fleet.

Offering a Monday to Friday roster, this role will suit a proven leader who can balance operational excellence, commercial performance and strong workforce leadership in a large-scale mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee day-to-day mining operations, ensuring safe, efficient and productive outcomes.
• Drive operational performance against safety, production, cost and equipment utilisation targets.
• Lead, develop and mentor operational leadership teams to build a high-performance culture.
• Manage large-scale mining operations involving ultra-class mobile equipment fleets.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards, statutory requirements and relevant legislation.
• Monitor operational costs, productivity and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, site stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational efficiency, equipment performance and workforce productivity.
• Ensure operational plans are delivered in line with contractual commitments and business objectives.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience operating at Mine Manager level within a large-scale mining operation.
• Demonstrated experience managing large ultra-class mining equipment fleets.
• A strong track record of delivering safe, productive and commercially successful mining operations.
• Proven leadership capability, with experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive operational performance against key targets.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
• A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• An SSE (Site Senior Executive) statutory ticket is highly desirable.
