We’re seeking CAT 793 Dump Truck Operators for an open-cut mining operation at Telfer, WA. If you have solid production experience and are looking for ongoing work on a 2/1 FIFO roster, we’d like to hear from you.

The opportunity

You’ll be part of the production team, primarily operating CAT 793 haul trucks. Your day-to-day work will include completing pre-start checks, following haul road and radio procedures, and working safely around loading areas and tip points. You may also assist with CAT 785 Water Cart operations when required.

The role offers $63.30 per hour, 12-hour shifts with regular additional paid overtime, and the opportunity to transition to permanent employment after three months.

What you’ll need

• At least two years’ production mining experience operating CAT 793 dump trucks
• Previous CAT 785 Water Cart experience
• Relevant machinery competencies or RIIs
• A current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence
• Australian working rights
• A National Police Clearance, drug and alcohol screen, and pre-employment medical that meet site requirements, or the ability to complete these during onboarding
• Ability to meet the site’s clean shaven requirement for respiratory protection

Flights depart from Perth only. If you live outside Perth, you’ll need to arrange your own travel to and from Perth for each swing.
