Myndshift Group has been engaged by our client partner, a respected mining contractor leading the restart of a major gold operation in North Queensland.

About the Role
Located approximately 150km south-west of Townsville, the Mt Carlton Gold Mine forms part of Charters Towers goldfield, one of Australia’s most established gold-producing regions. As operations ramp up under new leadership, the site is entering an exciting new phase of production, creating strong opportunities for experienced personnel to be part of its next chapter.

We are seeking experienced Servicepersons with mobile plant exposure to join the maintenance team and support the reliability and availability of the site’s equipment. This is an opportunity to secure a position on a growing operation as it gains momentum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refuelling, lubrication, and servicing of mobile plant and ancillary equipment
• Assist tradespeople with maintenance tasks and component change-outs
• Conduct routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and work areas to site standards
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety procedures
• Complete service records and documentation accurately

About You:

• Previous experience as a Serviceperson in a mining or heavy industry environment
• Experience working around mining mobile plant (e.g. CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr)
• Strong safety focus and awareness
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Current driver’s licence (HR desirable)
