Job Summary:
 
Ground Works Land Design is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Concrete Foreman to lead field operations within our Projects Division. This role is responsible for overseeing concrete crew members, coordinating jobsite activities, and ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery of concrete installations for high-end residential and commercial projects. The Concrete Foreman must be skilled in all phases of concrete work, have leadership experience, and be able to manage crews and subcontractors effectively. This is a key leadership role in a department with strong promotion potential. Our promotion track for this position is:
 
Concrete Crew Member > Concrete Finisher > Concrete Foreman > Project Manager > Operations Manager
 
Starting Pay Range: $27.00 – $32.00 + salary (dependent on experience)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• On-Call for snow removal during winter hours
• Lead and manage daily jobsite activities for concrete projects
• Oversee pouring, forming, and finishing of flatwork, footings, and walls
• Assign and monitor tasks for crew members and subcontractors
• Read, interpret, and execute work based on blueprints and layouts
• Maintain project timelines and coordinate with project managers and suppliers
• Ensure site safety protocols and quality standards are followed
• Operate and troubleshoot various construction tools and equipment
• Communicate with clients as needed during and after projects
• Complete all required digital reports, documentation, and timesheets
• Train and mentor junior team members
• Promote and model company culture and values
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s license with minimal incidents or points in the last 3 years
• 4+ years of experience in concrete work, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Expertise in layout, forming, pouring, and finishing of structural and decorative concrete
• Experience with stamped concrete and advanced finishes preferred
• Ability to lead a team and manage workflow on job sites
• Proficient in reading blueprints and construction documents
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to stand, crouch, bend, and climb stairs/ladders for extended periods
• Capable of working outdoors in changing weather and noisy environments
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Able to lift more than 100 lbs.
