Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is seeking a motivated Landscape/Hardscape Project Estimator to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with our in-house landscape designer, transforming creative visions into detailed project estimates. Ideal candidates will have a background in hardscape or landscape estimating—and bonus points if you have design experience. We’re a growing company looking for people who want to grow with us.

Pay Range: $68,000 – $85,000 Annually

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our design team to build detailed cost estimates from CAD drawings, site plans, or sketches
• Translate creative concepts into accurate projections for materials, labor, and logistics
• Support the sales team with client-ready, professional proposals
• Track project budgets and help refine our estimating process for accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate scope and budget clearly to construction and project management teams
• Review completed projects to identify estimating wins and improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years experience in construction, hardscape, or landscape estimating.
• Strong understanding of outdoor construction materials, methods, and cost drivers.
• Familiar with reading blueprints, CAD plans, or hand-drawn site sketches.
• Design experience (even basic CAD/SketchUp knowledge) is a big plus.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple estimates at once.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
