Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design – a subsidiary of GW Home Solutions - is seeking a Photography & Content Creation Intern with the opportunity to join our growing marketing team. We are looking for someone that is passionate about crafting engaging content to share with the public and drive brand presence online. As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for visiting active project sites, recording video, and turning it into captivating content to share on brand social media accounts.
 
Pay Wage: $18 per hour
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute social media marketing plans and meet/surpass weekly video creation goals.
• Visit job sites daily in Cuyahoga and Lorain County to collect content (photo/video).
• Practice post-production video/photo editing.
• Create engaging short format video content for various social media handles.
• Save and upload all work to a shared cloud-based platform.
• Work/collaborate with our Director of Marketing to share our brand story.
• Stay up to date with social media trends and technologies.
• Additional content editing/graphic design requests as required.

• Proficient understanding of existing and emergent social media platforms.
  • Expected but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok.
• Knowledge and proven experience using basic social media editing tools.
  • Examples: CapCut, Splice, Canva, iMovie
• Knowledge of graphic design principles for creating visually appealing social media posts.
• Portrays basic video recording skills.
• Demonstrates a creative mindset and genuine interest in content creation.
• Take direction and effectively communicate essential information.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
