APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

LOCATION: Moncton, NB or Greater Toronto Area

Work Type: Hybrid model (1-2 days in office/week)

SALARY RANGE: $62,000 - $76,000 annual salary

What Will You Do?

• Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise applications, including incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Monitor application performance, system health, and availability to ensure reliable business operations
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues while escalating complex problems when appropriate
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents and implement corrective actions to improve system stability
• Support application deployments, upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and production releases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to improve system functionality and overall user experience
• Participate in or lead assigned project work packages related to enterprise applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures
• Ensure service requests and incidents are managed in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs)
• Participate in an on-call support rotation and provide after-hours support when required
• Work closely with internal IT teams, vendors, and business partners to continuously improve application performance and reliability
• Perform other related duties as required

What Do You Bring?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications or working in an IT application support environment
• Experience troubleshooting business-critical enterprise applications
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and data flows between enterprise applications
• Experience working with IT service management and ticketing systems
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities with the confidence to work directly with business users
• Ability to prioritize multiple issues and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting application deployments, upgrades, and production releases is considered an asset
• Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation and occasional travel for implementation activities
