We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lead Service and Install Technician to install, repair, and service commercial and industrial solutions on customer sites throughout the GTA. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electro-mechanical and/or hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

What Will You Do?
  

• Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial garage doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, seals, bumpers, and accessories. Train and mentor Technicians with all tasks to ensure high quality work.
• Assign tasks to Technicians, ensure work is being completed to the job specification.
• Ensure Technicians are following all required safety protocols.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on dock and door equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and other documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a variety of commercial settings.

  
What Do You Bring?
  

• 5 or more years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. Experience with door and dock systems is a definite asset.
• At least 2 years in a Lead or Foreman position with strong hands-on leadership.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and working at heights and in refrigerated customer sites at times.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable and accountable attitude and takes pride in quality work.
• Very safety conscious with a proven ability to adhere to all required safety protocols.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
