What does the role entail? This role involves assessing consumer-directed advertising and informational content in both English and French to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies within the health products sector, covering areas such as nonprescription drugs, vaccines, natural health products, medical devices, and prescription drug communications.
What are the responsibilities?
Evaluate consumer-directed advertising copy and informational messages for health products to ensure they comply with relevant Canadian laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies, including the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations, Health Canada's Guidance on the distinction between advertising and other activities for health products, and authorized product information.
Draft written responses to clients, highlighting areas of concern and proposing potential solutions related to specific advertising messages.
Clarify applicable regulations and engage in discussions with submitters to explore possible solutions.
Consistently interpret and apply various laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with submitters.
Contribute to and participate in presentations, educational activities, and outreach initiatives
