Join a tier 2 builder with a strong local presence in Hamilton where you will deliver a range of commercial and industrial builds, predominantly in the range of $3-$15 million. 

This is a senior appointment in the team so you will have an impactful role to play on the future of this business, working alongside management to lead the project delivery team.

Responsibilities:

• Build good, positive relationships with your team, the client and the consultants on the project 
• Manage and create a programme that is achievable for successful delivery of this project ensuring we deliver on our word  
• Successfully tender work and engage with the sub contractor market - we want to positively impact these businesses so they enjoy working with us   
• Work to NZ contract 3916 and 3910 ensuring we deliver  
• Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and handover.
• Support a team of Site Managers and encourage their growth in the business. 

Requirements:

• A proven track record delivering New Zealand or Australian commercial developments in both a Project Management capacity, ideally with both 3916 and 3910 experience. 
• A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a project team with a strong understanding of the construction process and how to pull together a build of this scale
