Join a Tier 2 contractor for a 2-year build on a D&B warehouse that encompasses a number of services and technical elements. 

Working on a project based in South Aukland, you will be a full-time permanent employee who would be open to your next project being based in central Auckland or even Hamilton - so ideally you are flexible on location - once this 2-year project is complete.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overall management and coordination of all on-site construction activities.
• Lead focus on the structural elements of the build through to delivery of services. 
• Supervision of subcontractors, ensuring they are working in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
• Managing site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.

To be successful in this role we require:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects in New Zealand working to NZ code. 
• Prior experience working with structures, potentially with a Site Engineering/PE background or proven SM experience delivering large form concrete. 
• Strong knowledge of the construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Prior project work, building to New Zealand building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
