Role: Civil Project Manager

CLIENT:

Our Reputable Construction Client is seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team in Hamilton. Leading player in the civil engineering sector in the Waikato, known for delivering high-quality projects across New Zealand. Their expertise spans a diverse range of infrastructure developments, including roadworks, bridges, heavy civil structures, and urban redevelopment and large WWTP's.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to establish project goals and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, optimizing performance and minimizing risks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental practices.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering, preferably with Tier 1 exposure.
• Strong background in structures or heavy civil projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Calm, professional and methodical
