Make a change in early 2025 and come join a leading main contractor as a Senior Site Manager specialising in structural work. 

With a $30mill+ project consented and ready to break ground in Feb, we are looking to add an experienced Site Manager to our team. With a focus on our structural elements, you will be the lead to get this project out of the ground, working on it's complex structure and design. 

This is a big site, so we have a team that you will work alongside, including; your Site Foreman, General SM and your PM. We have a great team culture where we help our team thrive with the end goal of successfully delivering this project.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overall management and coordination of all on-site construction activities.
• Lead focus on the structural elements of the build.
• Supervision of subcontractors, ensuring they are working in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
• Managing site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.

To be successful in this role we require:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on commercial construction projects in New Zealand working to NZ code. 
• Prior experience working with structures, potentially with a Site Engineering/PE background or proven SM experience delivering large form concrete. 
• Strong knowledge of the construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Prior project work, building to New Zealand building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
