The opportunity
We are seeking, on behalf of our government client, a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join their team on a 4-month contract basis. As the Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and delivery of innovative software solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritise product requirements based on customer needs and business goals
• Manage the product backlog and ensure the development team is working on the right features and user stories
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on the product vision
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as planning, retrospectives, and demos to drive continuous improvement
• Analyse product performance data and metrics to inform strategic decision-making
• Champion a user-centric approach and advocate for the customer's perspective throughout the product development lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally in a software or technology-driven environment
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive informed decision-making
• Proficient in agile methodologies and practices, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
• Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
