If you enjoy being the person who keeps the people side of a business running well — the systems, the compliance, the payroll, the processes and the culture — this could be a really interesting role for you.
Invisible Partners is partnering with a well-established organisation in the
industrial/manufacturing sector to find a hands-on HR Business Partner.
It’s a broad generalist role where about half of your time will focus on supporting leaders and employees through training, performance reviews, engagement initiatives and people programs, and the other half executing the operational backbone of HR — payroll coordination, HR systems, compliance, WorkCover and audit readiness.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. Someone comfortable working in an environment that isn’t overly structured yet — and who enjoys bringing order, improving processes and quietly and confidently lifting the HR function over time.
You’ll likely enjoy this role if you:
- Are a true HR generalist who likes variety in your day
- Have experience across payroll, HR systems and compliance
- Have exposure to WorkCover, Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and audit coordination
- Have used Employment Hero (essential)
- Enjoy building or improving processes, rather than just maintaining them
- Bring good energy, curiosity and a practical mindset to your work
This is a great opportunity to apply your HR knowledge while utilising your payroll, compliance and administration strengths — and at the same time be a positive change agent for the people side of the business.
The role is based in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs, with onsite parking and a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 from home).
Invisible Partners is managing this search exclusively. If the balance of operational HR, systems, people initiatives and process improvement sounds like the kind of role you enjoy, we’d love to hear from you.
