About the role
In Sales at Chobani, you’ll turn plans into products on shelf through customer partnership, commercial discipline and cross-functional problem solving – creating availability, growth and share. You’ll work alongside a values-led leadership team that invests in your growth through coaching, feedback and clear development pathways.
This role is part of our broader expansion beyond traditional channels and into new markets – helping build the next evolution of Chobani’s growth in New Zealand. Over the next 12 months, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth of this emerging channel.
Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will support the initial scoping and customer acquisition phase, before transitioning into full ownership of account management as distribution is established.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and is comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and ongoing evolution.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Customer acquisition / business development will be a solid focus for the first 12 months
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships across retail partners
- Supporting onboarding of new customers and product launches
- Identifying risks and opportunities to improve account performance and distribution
- Executing customer plans, promotional calendars, and range reviews
- Managing day-to-day account operations (pricing, trade spend, admin, claims)
- Supporting sales delivery through accurate reporting, forecasting, and execution
- Coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability and minimise out-of-stocks
- Contributing to category insights and data-driven recommendations
What We’re Looking For We’re seeking an Account Manager (or a high-performing Account Executive ready to step up) who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. No two days are the same in this role—you’ll need to be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and shifting priorities.
Over the next 12 months, you will play a key role in driving growth initiatives, with a strong focus on business development. From building new customer relationships to supporting market expansion, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact as the business continues to scale.
You will also bring:
- Account Management / business development experience in an FMCG environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Solid understanding of forecasting and supply chain coordination
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bring a proactive, entrepreneurial approach, with a natural drive to take initiative and a genuine comfort with growth, change, and evolving priorities.
