The role
As Onboarding & Mobilisation Team Leader, you’ll guide a small, capable team to deliver onboarding experiences that are consistent, compliant, and deeply human. You’ll work across multiple internal and external stakeholders, connecting recruitment, operations, and workforce planning to ensure every new starter arrives site-ready, supported, and confident.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Designing and refining onboarding and mobilisation processes that reduce friction and improve visibility across large, distributed workforces.
- Evaluating and implementing resourcing or technology solutions to streamline workflows, whether through automation, system optimisation, or smarter offshoring partnerships.
- Building strong, proactive relationships with both Talent and site-based teams to ensure seamless handovers and outstanding candidate experiences.
- Maintaining a sharp focus on compliance, data integrity, and readiness, ensuring that safety, documentation, and regulatory requirements are never compromised.
- Leading with empathy and accountability, fostering a culture of clarity, ownership, and trust within your team.
About you You’re mature, resilient, and calm under pressure, someone who thrives in fast-paced environments with many moving parts. You combine process thinking with people leadership, knowing how to bring efficiency without losing empathy.
You’ll bring experience in onboarding, mobilisation, or workforce coordination within large, multi-site or complex operations, perhaps from
hospitality, healthcare, retail, aviation, logistics, or other national networks where scale, compliance, and collaboration go hand-in-hand.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Navigate cross-functional relationships between talent, operations, and site leadership teams with professionalism and impact.
- Demonstrate how you’ve introduced efficiencies or leveraged technology (e.g. system automation, workflow digitisation, offshoring, or platform integration) to deliver measurable improvement.
- Lead teams with clarity and care, balancing process discipline with a human-centred approach.
- Work confidently with data, documentation, and systems to maintain oversight and integrity across the onboarding lifecycle.
