Hudson Staffing is working with a lovely, down-to-earth family in Omaha, Nebraska, seeking a full-time or part-time Private Chef for their household.
The family is open to a local Chef or a relocation candidate. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Culinary-trained with formal culinary education and/or certification
- Familiar with Midwestern lifestyle and culture — ideally from the area or someone who has previously lived in the Midwest
- Experienced working in private homes
- Looking for a long-term commitment with a wonderful family
- Happy, easygoing, pleasant, and professional
- Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented in the kitchen
The family has two young children and is looking for someone who can prepare healthy, nutritious meals and take ownership of the kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
- Lunch preparation and daily meal service
- Menu planning
- Grocery shopping and food sourcing
- Food storage and kitchen organization
- Kitchen management
- Occasional entertaining
- Travel to the family's other residence as needed
The family enjoys elevated American, French, and Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on healthy, organic, natural foods and scratch cooking. Minimal use of processed products is important.
They are looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, nutritious, beautifully prepared meals and who works well within a household where etiquette, boundaries, teamwork, and communication are valued.
Schedule: Approximately 4-5 days per week, depending on full-time or part-time arrangement
Salary: $100,000-$150,000+, depending on experience
Benefits: Health insurance stipend
