A returning Hudson Staffing client in Downtown New York City is looking for an experienced Weekend Nanny to join their wonderful family!
The Role:
-Care for a toddler and a newborn on the way
-Saturdays & Sundays, approximately 10 hours/day | 20 hours/week guaranteed
-Flexible weekend scheduling, typically either 10 AM-6/7 PM or 8 AM-5/6 PM
-Additional overnight flexibility is important, especially during summer travel to the family's second home in Westchester and when parents travel
-Long-term commitment preferred
This family is very hands-on and is looking for someone who can be a true team player and provide an extra set of hands on the weekends. In addition to childcare, the role will include light household support such as tidying, errands, shopping, organizing laundry, and making beds. The family employs a full-time housekeeper, so this is not a housekeeping position.
The family has a dog, so you must be comfortable and friendly around dogs. No pet care is required.
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience
Ideally NYC-based with weekend nanny experience
Experienced with toddlers and babies
Comfortable with multiples
Fun, active, engaging, and organized
Flexible and willing to commit long-term
A true team player who works well alongside Mom and Dad
A Newborn Care Specialist will be with the family 24/7 during the first couple of months, but the Weekend Nanny should be comfortable caring for both children as the role progresses.
$40/hour + PTO, holidays, and additional benefits
