Temporary to Potentially Permanent Nanny - RYE NY

A family in New York City is seeking a temporary Nanny with the potential to become permanent to help care for four children, ranging from school-age to teenagers. The Nanny will work alongside another full-time nanny as part of a collaborative childcare team.

For the initial 2-3 weeks, the family is open to a live-in arrangement for the temporary period. Ideally, the permanent role will be live-out.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

Morning shift: 7:00-8:30 AM

Afternoon/evening shift: 3:00-9:30 PM

(This is a split schedule.)

Responsibilities include:

Supervising and caring for the children before and after school

Working closely with the co-nanny to manage schedules and daily routines

Driving children to and from school and after-school activities (driving required)

Assisting with homework and school-related needs

Coordinating with other household staff

Handling all childcare-related responsibilities

Requirements:

Must be local to New York City

Strong driving skills and a clean driving record

Team-oriented and comfortable working in a staffed household

Organized, reliable, and proactive
