Part-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant - Valley Cottage, NY (Hudson Valley)
A lovely family in Valley Cottage, New York (Hudson Valley) is seeking a part-time housekeeper and household assistant to help keep their home organized and running smoothly.
The family has two school-age children and a cleaning service that comes twice a month for deep cleaning. Mom works out of the office a few days a week and is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented right hand to assist with daily household upkeep and organization.
Responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day tidying and household organization
• Laundry and linen care
• Light meal prep (washing, chopping, and prepping ingredients—Mom handles dinner cooking)
• Helping set up household systems for smooth daily routines

Schedule options:

• Option 1: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
• Option 2: Mondays and Fridays, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Details:

• 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home
• Two school-age children (typically at school/activities during the day)
• One friendly cat—must be pet comfortable
• Mom works from home some days
• Year-round position
• Guaranteed at least 15 hours per week (depending on schedule)
• Compensation: $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar household role
• Local candidates only (within reasonable commuting distance)
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
