Overview
 
We are a family in Pinecrest, FL, seeking a live-out newborn care specialist for their baby girl, due September 16th. The schedule will be 8pm-6am.  We need someone with flexibility in case we need to move the start/end time earlier/later by 1-2 hours, as needed, as well as for when we need to add extra hours (we will cap this at 2 additional flexible hours between 6am-8pm, up to 3x per week, but only as needed). We would like the candidate to be good at time management, able to balance fulfillment of their responsibilities (see below) with sleep.  The contract will run for a period of 6 months (24 weeks) as follows:

• Weeks 1-4 - 7 nights per week
• Weeks 5-8 - 5 nights per week
• Weeks 9-12 - 4 nights per week 
• Weeks 13-16 - 3 nights per week 
• Weeks 17-20 - 2 nights per week 
• Weeks 21-24 - 1 night per week 

 
This is a live out role.  Candidates must be local or live within a commutable distance to our home in Pinecrest.
 
Responsibilities

• Look after the safety and well-being of the baby
• Implement an effective sleep/feeding routine that the parents agree with and can follow once the term ends
• Wash bottles/accessories, wash baby/child clothes (including clothing of the 18-month old), empty baby garbage when full directly to bins outside, tidy up anything baby/child related (including toys/play area of the 18-month old), prepping baby items for the next day, etc.  

 
Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist/infant care nanny
• Must have experience working as a newborn care specialist overnight, with responsibilities that may limit sleep time
• Must be able to wake yourself up at the end of each shift, inform parents of the end of the shift, and depart at the agreed upon time (extra sleeping time that is not agreed to by both parties will not count as working hours)

 
Requirements 

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Candidates must be up to date on MMR, Tdap, COVID, and Flu vaccinations. 

 
Pay

• $40 per hour
