Family Assistant / Nanny needed in Uptown Kingston NY Part time 30 hours per week 
An adventurous and busy family with two young daughters - 5 and 3 are looking for a caring, reliable person to join their family team to help with household management and childcare support.
Schedule
Regular hours, part time to full time with flexibility around the schedule
Sample schedule:
Sun 1-6pm
Mon - Thurs 2:30-730pm 
Fri/ Sat OFF
Primary Responsibilities:
Household organization while kids are at school. They have a housekeeper who comes every Tuesday from 9-4pm to clean the entire house, but need help keeping things tidy between 
Tidy / organize kitchen and kid spaces
Toy/play area resets
Light laundry and putting away kids clothes
Water / care for houseplants 
Misc family errands, such as:
Processing returns and packages
Picking up Target orders
Posting items on Marketplace
Food & Meal Support
Food prep that supports family meals
Pack/prep school lunches
Prep breakfast components (cut fruit, bake muffins, etc)
Dinner support (prep ingredients, marinate proteins, etc)
Load / unload dishwasher, clear counter space
Some shopping (groceries, specialty items, pickup orders)
Childcare Support
Pick up from school (own vehicle needed)
Support evenings
Set up simple after school activities with the goal of reducing screen time
Play / engage with kids
Help with dinner prep or clean up (we usually like to cook ourselves)
Support family on Sunday afternoons when we are prepping for the week
Tidy family spaces
Help get items ready for the week (laundry away, check backpacks, etc)
Take girls to the park or other outingsQualifications & Skills
Experience with children of similar ages (preschool/toddler) and managing sibling dynamics
Ability to triage situations where both children need attention simultaneously
Skill in engaging children in activities while parents are at home
Calm, patient demeanor during children's emotional moments
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
References requiredCompensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $30-35 depending on qualifications and experience
Potential for growth in hours and responsibilities
Guarantee 30 hours per week- 
Travel- ideally depending on candidates
Must have a car- 
pets- no pets in home
