Rieschick Drilling in Falls City, Nebraska is looking for a skilled Water Well Technician to join their team! The Water Well Technician will assist with mud rotary and reverse rotary drilling.
 
The ideal applicant is highly motivated, detail-orientated, and eager to learn. They must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Water Well Technician Job Duties:

• Assist with mud and reverse rotary drilling for domestic, industrial and municipal use
• Assist with installing geothermal systems for commercial and residential locations
• Responsible for safe set-up of rig and equipment needed
• Clean and disinfect water wells in preparation for use
• Install, fit and fabricate piping systems using proper plumbing techniques
• Aid in setting up pumps and completing installation
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using a multimeter
• Successfully locate utilities and electrical lines
• Safely operate heavy equipment used for drilling and boring equipment
• Perform fusion, MIG and Stick welding when needed
• Assist with collecting drill cutting and water samples
• Perform routine maintenance on drilling rigs and equipment
• Ability to travel within a 4-hour radius of Fall City, including occasional overnight stays

The Water Well Technician must work well in a team environment and effectively communicate. The Water Well Technician must have an acceptable driving record as reflect by MVR. A Class A CDL is not required, however if the applicant holds a CDL they will be compensated accordingly.
