Taylor Farms is looking for an experienced Ranch Hand to join their diverse, fast-paced family operation in Goodland, Kansas. The Ranch Hand must have a strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have 3-5 years of cattle experience.
 
Ranch Hand Compensation & Benefits:
· $48,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience
· Year-end bonus

Ranch Hand Job Duties:
· Conduct routine livestock inspections on all cattle.
· Handle cattle with low stress.
· Feed, water and put out salt and minerals
· Assist with artificial insemination process
· Assist with calving
· Identify and treat sick cattle
· Process and work cattle regularly
· Rotate cattle on pastures and corn stalks
· Install and fix fence
· Ability to monitor cattle health via side-by-side vehicles and/or horseback riding
· Safely operate a semi-truck during harvest
· Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment
 
Ranch Hand Schedule: Hours vary based on season
· Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating weekends for chores
 
The Ranch Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. A class A Farm CDL is required, or the willingness to get one.
