Job Title: Vice President – Strategic Sourcing
Location: Dublin, Ireland (with occasional international travel)

Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Strategic Sourcing to lead and drive complex, global sourcing initiatives across a diverse set of indirect spend categories. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in global procurement and vendor management within large, matrixed organisations.
The role includes oversight of procurement activities across Europe and North America and will involve regular collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across continents.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across categories such as HR Services, Marketing, Consulting, Training, Recruitment, Real Estate, and Facilities.
• Manage procurement processes for services related to IT infrastructure, software, cloud solutions, and professional services.
• Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships to understand business goals and align sourcing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement, legal, and risk frameworks across sourcing and contracting activities.
• Develop market intelligence and benchmarking to guide category strategies and cost optimisation.
• Oversee high-value vendor negotiations and long-term supplier relationship management.
• Approve major procurement decisions, contracts, and investment strategies in partnership with global leadership.
• Provide input into procurement policy development, KPI setting, and operational reporting.
• Coordinate procurement resources and strategy across international teams in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
• Directly manage a local team and collaborate with global procurement and finance colleagues.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 15–18+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement leadership experience, with exposure to both US and European markets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex sourcing projects within large, global businesses.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., eRFx, eAuction, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working within governance-driven, compliance-focused environments.
