Software Architect
Our client is a well-established technology company operating in a high-growth sector, specializing in advanced digital solutions for businesses. With a strong market presence, they are dedicated to driving innovation and optimizing operations for their partners. Their team consists of experienced professionals across technology, product development, and operations, delivering transformative solutions to a dynamic industry.
We are seeking a Senior-Level Architect to join the R&D team remotely. This role will report to senior technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead system architecture improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Define and implement best practices, architectural patterns, and governance standards.
• Assess and document existing architecture, identifying areas for optimization.
• Guide engineering teams in making architectural decisions and technical trade-offs.
• Oversee design reviews and technical discussions to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Implement performance optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency.
• Define key architectural KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years in software development, including 3+ years in an architect role.
• Expertise in modern backend technologies, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience in system re-architecture, performance optimization, and service dependency management.
• Strong understanding of API design, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Knowledge of cloud environments, security, scalability, and high-availability principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience working on high-scale platforms in industries such as e-commerce or enterprise software.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with messaging systems, asynchronous processing, and API technologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Understanding of event sourcing, CQRS, and polyglot persistence.
• Background in managing complex technical projects at scale.
