Position: Project Manager
Location: Brussels, Belgium

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager fluent in English to join our team as an expert consultant. Based in Brussels, Belgium, this role involves working either at our premises or on-site at the customer’s location. For the initial assignment, you will collaborate with our development team and work closely with a major IT team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of information systems to meet business needs, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed parameters of cost, time, and quality.
• Propose project strategies, define tasks and deliverables, review project outputs, and oversee quality control, risk analysis, and management.
• Estimate costs, timelines, and resource requirements for successful project completion.
• Develop and maintain project and quality plans, track progress against plans, and provide accurate, regular reports.
• Manage change control procedures and secure approval for project revisions from sponsors.

Requirements:

Education:

University degree in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant IT experience.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of expertise in project management standards and methodologies, including project scheduling, strategic planning, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with Agile methodology, Scrum Management, and Lean Agile practices.
• Extensive experience with project management tools such as Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• At least 7 years of expertise in reporting methods and meeting facilitation.

Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner
• Certified in PM²

Language Skills:

Excellent command of English.
