Duties & Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality photography that captures the ASC community (including staff and supporters) and our services.
• Content may include awareness campaigns.
• Edit and deliver high-quality, ready-to-use photos for digital platforms.
• Bring your own equipment or work with ASC's available gear to ensure high-quality production values. You will be responsible for camera operation.
• Collaborate closely with the Communications team to ensure the photos align with our brand and storytelling strategy.
• Project check-ins with the Communications team (flexible timing).

• Attention to detail and the ability to work with deadlines,
• Excellent photography and storytelling skills. Showcasing a portfolio is essential.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Canva (desirable)
• Experience in working with people from various backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers 
• Flexibility and willingness to take on extra tasks as appropriate
• Ability to adhere to policies in relation to code of conduct, boundaries and confidentiality

• Comply with Work, Health and Safety systems 
• Comply with Incident Management Procedures and emergency protocols 
• Demonstrate a respectful and welcoming behaviour with all people at ASC in culturally appropriate ways
• Undertake a NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement and ensure it is up-to-date 
• Support a child safe organisation by undertaking screening for suitability to work with children and vulnerable people and to comply with relevant state/territory legislative requirements
