We are looking for an experienced Finance Professional to join this successful, marketing leading business, to continue their growth trajectory.

This is a broad and commercially focused role, providing strategic financial leadership and operational oversight across a national branch network. You will partner closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Regional Managers, providing the financial insight and commercial challenge needed to support profitable growth and informed decision-making.

About the role

You will lead and develop the finance function, ensuring strong financial reporting, robust controls and effective day-to-day operations, while also playing an active role in the broader commercial performance of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, developing and mentoring a high-performing finance team
• Owning the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process
• Ensuring strong financial controls, compliance and balance sheet integrity
• Leading annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning
• Providing management reporting, dashboards and insightful performance analysis
• Partnering with operational leaders to understand branch profitability, sales performance, productivity and expenses
• Managing treasury, cashflow, banking relationships, credit risk and working capital
• Supporting strategic decisions including investment opportunities, acquisitions, branch expansion and capital expenditure
• Developing financial models and business cases to support commercial decision-making
• Providing financial guidance around pricing, profitability and growth initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, reporting and controls
• Leading finance transformation, automation and technology initiatives
• Supporting the Senior Leadership Team as a trusted commercial and financial advisor

About you
You will be a commercially minded senior finance professional who combines strong technical accounting capability with the confidence to influence and challenge at a senior level.
We are looking for:

• CA ANZ qualification or equivalent
• 8+ years' senior finance leadership experience
• Proven experience leading finance teams within a multi-site organisation
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis skills
• Experience managing audits, controls and compliance
• Advanced financial modelling and business partnering capability
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• A strategic and commercially focused mindset
• A genuine interest in continuous improvement and transformation

Experience in a multi-site or multi-revenue source environment would be advantageous, as would experience supporting acquisitions, expansion or finance systems and process improvement projects.
