You will take ownership of regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring all submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant financial services regulations and standards.
You will lead reporting processes, manage key stakeholder relationships, and provide technical expertise across regulatory frameworks, controls, and financial reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end regulatory reporting requirements
• Ensuring accurate calculations of risk-weighted exposures and regulatory capital
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial services regulations and reporting standards
• Maintain a day to day relationship with the regulators
• Partnering with risk, compliance, and finance teams to strengthen controls and governance
• Driving process improvement and reporting efficiencies
• Supporting audits and responding to regulatory queries
• Ensuring independent review and oversight of liquidity ratios submitted to the RBNZ
• Providing leadership and guidance to the wider finance team and key stakeholders
• Assisting with ongoing projects, transformation initiatives, and system/process enhancements

About You
You will be a technically strong finance professional with proven experience within financial services and a deep understanding of regulatory reporting obligations.
To be successful, you will ideally bring:

• Significant experience in regulatory reporting within financial services, banking, insurance, or a related sector
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks
• CA/CPA qualification preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capability
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in complex or highly regulated environments
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing deadlines
