We’re partnering with a well-established, fast-paced FMCG business to appoint a Senior Management Accountant for a maternity leave cover. This is a key role within the finance team, offering a broad and varied scope across reporting, analysis, and business support.
This role will suit someone who is solutions-oriented, pragmatic, and confident, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and insightful financial information to support decision-making across the business. You’ll take ownership of core reporting processes while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and monthly reporting processes
• Prepare board reporting packs with clear, concise commentary
• Deliver management reporting and variance analysis
• Manage recharges and cost allocations across the business
• Ensure strong compliance and financial controls
• Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial insights
• Identify and implement process improvements

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within FMCG or a high-volume environment
• Strong experience with month-end, reporting, and commentary
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Confident communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders
• Able to operate autonomously and take ownership
