We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint a technically strong Financial Reporting Manager. This is a key role within the finance function, suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, compliance-driven, while also bringing a solutions-focused mindset.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the financial reporting function, ensuring all statutory and group reporting requirements are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining strong financial controls, while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
• Prepare statutory financial statements in line with NZ IFRS
• Manage group consolidations, including multi-entity reporting
• Responsible for deferred tax calculations and reporting
• Lead the external audit process and manage auditor relationships
• Ensure strong compliance and internal controls across the finance function
• Deliver high-quality board and group reporting with meaningful insights
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across reporting

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong background in financial reporting within a manufacturing or complex environment
• Proven experience with consolidations and deferred tax
• Deep understanding of compliance, controls, and statutory obligations
• Experience in a multinational business preferred
• Solutions-oriented, with the ability to improve processes and add value
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
