Move beyond the spreadsheets and drive real-world momentum at a leading organisation of national significance.
- Drive high-profile stakeholder engagement by leading forums and presenting tactical strategies
- Optimise end-to-end operational flow and resource allocation during a major organisational growth phase.
- Solve complex, physical-world operational puzzles using advanced simulation tools and real-time data analytics
The Opportunity This is a chance to join a professional, high-performing organisation currently undergoing a massive multi-million dollar infrastructure expansion. You will be part of a team at the heart of this transformation, ensuring that as the organisation grows, the customer experience remains seamless. This is a unique opening to leave your mark on a project of immense scale.
The Role Reporting to a highly experienced and supportive leader with deep roots in the industry, you will step into a world where data meets physical reality. You'll get to partner with diverse stakeholders and get in amongst the action where it's all happening. Optimising customer flow and turning complex operational data into high-impact insights for strategic and tactical decision making are what this role is all about.
Key responsibilities include: - Capacity Modelling: Forecasting resource requirements
- Operational Storytelling: Moving beyond the "what" to explain the "why"—translating data into narratives that help decision-makers pivot and improve flow.
- Tactical Investigation: Analysing real-time data, wait times, and customer profiles to identify friction points and recommend roster adjustments to fix them.
- Infrastructure Support: Provide the data-driven foresight and planning support required to help ensure the delivery of a major, long-term infrastructure expansion runs smoothly.
- Influencing Decisions: Providing the analytical "proof" needed to influence high-level decisions regarding resource allocation and staffing levels.
Your Background We are looking for an inquisitive, hands-on analyst who thrives on "hunting" for answers and isn't afraid to get in amongst operations to observe processes firsthand.
- Experience: 3–5 years in an analytical role such as Data Science, Statistics, or Operational Research. This may suit a Financial Analyst looking to move into a more tangible, operational business partner space.
- Technical Skills: Advanced modelling expertise is essential. Experience with Power BI, SQL or Python will set you apart.
- Mindset: You are a "self-starter" with a curious nature who connects the dots to explain true business impact.
- Communication & Stakeholders Engagement: Exceptional storytelling ability is required to explain complex data to non-technical leaders and foster collaboration across diverse partner groups.
The Culture & Benefits The team is a collaborative, high-trust group that values autonomy and professional integrity. You’ll be given the space to own your work.
- A manager focused on succession planning who actively supports your progression within the wider organisation
- On site parking
- Subsidised health insurance, subsidised dental care, and access to a subsidised on-site gym.
