Hours of Work:
40 Hours per Week
Monday- Friday (Weekends are expected during peak trading times to meet business needs)
Must be flexible with working hours / shifts in order to accommodate plant operation.
Purpose of the job:
manage customer orders and order patterns to create and communicate a production plan in a timely manner while considering existing stocks both fresh & Frozen, customer promotions, trends & peak periods. To fulfil customer requirements and meet deadlines
Main area of responsibility:
Generate and maintain production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.
Ensure plans are in place and communicated to allow the organisation of production resources.
Liaise with the production teams regarding the production plan and delivery dates required to meet customer needs.
Liaise with Sales team on demand forecasts from Customers, highlighting any challenges and proposing solutions.
Liaise with the despatch team regarding the production plan, shelf life and delivery dates required to meet customer needs.
To liaise with prep, procurement and technical teams in relation to optimal raw material usage due to its shelf life limitations
Analyse production capacity, material availability and resource allocation to optimise production efficiency.
Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials needed for production.
Monitor production progress and identify potential issues informing production / procurement / Sales as soon as they arise.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and minimise disruptions.
Communicate production schedules, priorities and changes to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination.
Review current finished stock regularly to ensure production plan is still relevant
Ensure that production information is uploaded on to ERP factory system
Complete all Team Leaders daily production plans on time
Keep wastage to a minimum and set up times to a minimum
Achieve 100% customer service levels
Inform Production management of any issues as the arise.
You will be required to be flexible in your position & must be prepared to transfer to other duties within the business.

Person Specification:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ working in a food manufacturing facility with short shelf life with fast turn -around type products.
Advantage to have a knowledge of existing product SKU’s
Ability to use excel spread sheets and understand reports created internally to extract relevant data
Excellent communication skills with a good level of both written and spoken English
The ability to analyse production capacity, material availability, and resource allocation to optimise production efficiency
Ability to ensure Real time updates to our ERP System
Pragmatic with strong problem-solving skills
Motivated to make a difference in a challenging and fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritise tasks as per deadline requirements
Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
Some knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations.
