Job Title: Care Assistant – Home-Based Support
Location: Weston-super-Mare
Pay: £13 – £16.60 per hour
Alternative limited company rates available upon request
Shift Times: 08:00–18:00 | 11:00–17:00 | 17:00–21:00
(Flexible shift patterns available)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts

We’re looking for kind, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our supportive team, delivering one-to-one care for a gentleman in his own home following a motorbike accident. This is a truly meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s daily life while working in a calm and respectful environment.

About the Role: You’ll be working as part of a 24/7 care team, providing consistent and compassionate support tailored to the client's individual needs. The person you’ll be supporting is a below-knee amputee who requires both physical assistance and emotional encouragement as he regains independence.
Your Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering personal care, including help with washing, dressing, and hygiene
• Prompting medication in line with the care plan
• Offering companionship and emotional reassurance
• Assisting with everyday tasks and encouraging independence
• Supporting safety and comfort within the home

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous care experience is essential
• A caring, empathetic approach and a genuine desire to help others
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Reliability, patience, and a respectful attitude towards privacy and dignity
• UK Driving License is a MUST
• Right to work in the UK
