Job Title: Night Care Assistant – Home-Based Care
Location: Bath
Pay: £17–£18 per hour (Alternative limited company rates available upon request)
Hours: Night shifts – 8:00pm to 8:00am

We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Night Care Assistant to join our team, providing 2:1 overnight support for a male client in his own home in Bath.

This is a rewarding role for someone confident in delivering complex care, including PEG feeding, catheter care, and epilepsy management. You'll be part of a small, dedicated team providing safe, respectful, and person-centred care throughout the night.

About the Role: In this night-based position, you'll be supporting the client to remain comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they rest. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the client throughout the night and responding to any changes or concerns
• Managing seizures in line with an established epilepsy care plan
• Providing PEG feeding and catheter care, ensuring hygiene and comfort
• Assisting with repositioning and any personal care needs
• Keeping clear and accurate care records
• Creating a calm, reassuring presence and respectful care environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker
• Confident in managing epilepsy, PEG/Jej tube care, and catheter support
• Skilled in safe moving and handling techniques
• Patient, calm, and attentive, especially during overnight hours
• Good written and verbal communication for clear record-keeping
