Morning Care Assistant - Newport & Monmouth
Hours: Morning shifts available (starting from 06:15am) | Full-time or part-time
Pay Rates: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
 
We know mornings are a crucial part of the day for many of our clients. As a Morning Care Assistant, you'll be providing essential support to help them start their day with confidence, dignity, and comfort—all within the familiarity of their own home. What You'll Be Doing
As a Morning Care Assistant, you'll visit clients during the early part of the day, helping them with their morning routines and ensuring they begin their day positively. Your role will include:

• Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
• Supporting mobility needs (e.g. getting out of bed, using walking aids or hoists if required)
• Preparing breakfast and morning medications
• Encouraging independence while offering reassurance and support
• Providing light housekeeping to keep the home safe and welcoming
• Offering companionship and a friendly face to start the day
• Updating the care team to ensure smooth, continuous care

Who We're Looking For
You don't need previous experience in care—we'll give you all the training you need. What matters most is your caring nature and reliability, especially in the early morning hours when clients need your support most.
 
Essential Requirements

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• The right to work in the UK
• Good spoken and written English skills
• A genuine desire to help others live well at home
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
