Care Assistant - Monmouth
Location: Monmouth & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Full time/ Part time/ Flexible shifts
Pay Rates: £13-£13-50 per hour

What You'll Be Doing
As a Care Assistant, you'll visit clients in their own homes, supporting them to live independently, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, and your role will be varied, meaningful, and deeply rewarding. You'll build trusted relationships while helping with:
- Supporting with daily routines such as washing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Helping with mobility needs, including transfers, walking aids, or hoists (where required)
- Preparing meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs or preferences
- Assisting with shopping, running errands, or collecting prescriptions
- Helping clients keep their home tidy, safe, and welcoming
- Reducing loneliness by supporting clients to enjoy hobbies, activities, or simply a chat over a cup of tea
- Accompanying clients to appointments, walks, or community outings to help them stay active and connected
- Keeping in regular contact with the office team, ensuring everyone is updated and working together to deliver the best care

What You'll Need We're looking for people who are reliable, compassionate, and ready to make a difference in the lives of others. You don't need previous care experience—full training and support are provided—but there are a few things that are essential for the role:
Essential Requirements - A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - you'll be travelling between client visits
- The right to work in the UK
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Good spoken and written English skills for communicating with clients and documenting visits
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
