Job Title: Home Care Assistant
Location: Gloucester – GL6
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.62 per hour + holiday pay & mileage
Limited company pay rates available upon request
Hours: 7 days a week
Shift Options: 08:00–13:00 or 13:00–18:00 (shifts can be combined to make more hours)
  
About the Role:
We are looking for kind, dependable Care Assistants to support a woman living with advanced dementia, in the comfort of her own home. She is communicative but can become easily confused, and requires a gentle, patient presence to feel at ease. She thrives on routine and familiarity, so consistency and empathy are vital.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Offering companionship, emotional support, and a calm, friendly approach
• Assisting with daily tasks and personal routines
• Encouraging engagement through conversation and meaningful activities
• Building trust through consistent and respectful interactions

  
Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience in dementia care or supporting older adults is highly desirable
• Naturally patient, compassionate, and emotionally aware
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to the needs of the individual
• Must have a UK Driving License & access to own vehicle
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
