Home Care Assistant – Weston-super-Mare
Location: Weston-super-Mare
Pay Rate: £13 – £15 per hour (Alternative limited company rates available upon request)
Shifts Available: 08:00–18:00 | 11:00–17:00 | 17:00–21:00 (flexible shift times considered)
Contract Type: Full-time | Part-time | Flexible shifts

We’re looking for warm, dependable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our home care team supporting a gentleman in his own home following a motorbike accident. You’ll be providing meaningful companionship and hands-on support in a calm and familiar environment.

About the Role: As part of a friendly care rota, you’ll provide round-the-clock assistance to a client who has undergone a below-knee amputation. Your role will be key in helping him maintain comfort, dignity, and independence as he works toward greater mobility and confidence.

Your Responsibilities:

• Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and hygiene
• Prompting medication in line with care plans
• Providing emotional support and genuine companionship
• Encouraging daily routines and promoting as much independence as possible
• Maintaining a safe and supportive home environment

What we're looking for:

• Previous care experience is essential
• A caring nature, reliability, and patience
• Good communication skills
• Respect for privacy, dignity, and personal boundaries
• UK Driving License 
• Right to work in the UK
