Weekend Care Assistant (Children & Young Adults) - Gloucester 
 
Hours required – Saturday 7am to 7pm
Hourly rate: 7am to 8am £17.99 then 8am to 8pm £17.12
Mileage paid in full at 40p per mile
 
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support a young female client who lives in the Brookthorpe area and attends school Monday to Friday.
 
About the Role:
She is a bright, sociable young person with Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy. She requires full support with personal care. She communicates well and enjoys engaging with staff that support her. She has a warm, engaging personality.
 
Her Interests:
She is active and enjoys a wide range of fun and stimulating activities, including:

• Sensory activities
• Playing games on her Ipad
• Being out and about in the fresh air
• Trips to cafés and the cinema
• Playing games

Your role will involve not just meeting her care needs but also supporting her in accessing and enjoying these activities outside the family home with her Mum, Step-dad and younger sister —helping her to be part of family life.
 
What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with or willingness to be trained in complex care.
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Someone reliable and flexible
• A valid driving licence is preferred (to assist with outings)
