Weekend Care Assistant – Home-Based Support (Saturday & Sunday)
 
Location: Bath
Hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
Salary: £16 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time (weekends only, evening shifts also available)
 
We are seeking a Weekend Care Assistant to support a lovely client in their own home. This is a 1:1 role providing dedicated care, companionship, and support with medical needs and community activities.
 
About the Role:
As a Weekend Care Assistant, you will work 12-hour day shifts on both Saturday and Sunday. You’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care and companionship, supporting the client with:

• Epilepsy management
• Catheter care
• PEG/Mikey Button feeding and medication administration
• Weight monitoring and management
• Encouraging and enabling community access and fun activities

You’ll play a vital part in helping the client maintain independence, safety, and quality of life in their own home.
What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in similar complex care roles (particularly with PEG feeding and epilepsy is highly desirable)
• Confidence in managing medical needs including medication via PEG
• A kind, patient, and proactive approach
• Reliability and commitment to weekend shifts
• Full training will be provided, but prior relevant experience is essential
