Evening Care Assistant - Bath
 
Location: Bath
Hours: 3pm – 9pm, Monday to Friday (weekend work also available)
Salary: £15 per hour
 
We are currently recruiting for an Evening Care Assistant to support a client in their own home with complex care needs.
 
About the Role: As an Evening Care Assistant, you will provide one-to-one support tailored to the individual needs of our client. You’ll play a vital role in promoting the client's independence, health, and wellbeing during the later hours of the day.
 
Support Areas Include:

• Epilepsy management – Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizures.
• Catheter care – Ensuring hygiene and correct handling procedures are followed.
• PEG/Mikey Button feeding - Observing and reporting any concerns with the feeding site or equipment (no medication administration required).
• Weight management – Supporting healthy routines and monitoring changes.
• Community engagement – Assisting the client in accessing the community, enjoying meaningful activities, and maintaining social connections.

About You:

• Previous experience in a care role, particularly with PEG feeding and epilepsy, is highly desirable.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
• Reliability and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training where needed.
